Our policies for a secure and smooth rental process.

Requirements & Identification

All required documents must be submitted through the Google Form provided once you confirm your booking.

Renters must be 18 years old or above and must use their main account when booking (no locked, dummy, or private accounts).

E-Signature: Renters must provide their e-signature on the rental agreement (sent after downpayment confirmation) as proof of consent.

Required Documents:

  • Two (2) valid government-issued IDs
  • Clear video selfie holding your IDs and a handwritten note on a piece of paper saying: “for Rentals by K & your rental period from pick-up date to return date.”
    Example: For Rentals by K — December 11 to December 15, 2024
  • Two (2) recent billing statements showing the same surname and address as on the ID (e.g., Meralco, water, internet bill, or shopping app transaction)
  • Optional: Travel proof (e-ticket or booking receipt) for out-of-town or international rentals
  • Optional: Flight details (departure date, arrival date, flight number) for international rentals

For Minors (below 18) must submit:

  • One (1) valid student ID
  • Updated Enrollment Assessment Form / Proof of Enrollment
  • Two (2) government-issued IDs of a parent or guardian

Payment, Delivery, and Contact

Payment Policy:

  • A 50% non-refundable downpayment via online transfer is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be fully settled before courier booking, with proof of payment submitted.

Delivery & Pick-Up:

  • All courier arrangements will be handled by Rentals by K. Renters are responsible for Grab Express premium delivery fees.
  • Only the person who booked may receive or return the device.
  • Time adjustments or early pick-ups can be arranged during reservation, subject to availability.

Additional Contact Information:

Rentals by K requires a back-up or secondary contact person for smooth and reliable communication regarding important updates or clarifications.

Security, Return & Transparency

Proof & Transparency (To ensure security):

  • Upon receiving and returning the device, renters must take clear photos/videos of the unit and all included accessories.
  • Send all documentation via Instagram or Facebook DM for record-keeping.

When returning the device, provide:

  • Photo of the rider holding the item.
  • Photo of the rider’s driver’s license and motorcycle plate, matching the booking app details.

Return Deadline:

  • Devices must be returned on or before the agreed date and time. Domestic/international travelers should allow extra time for flight delays.
  • Rental extensions are allowed subject to availability.
  • Late returns of 2 hours or more will incur additional charges.

Damage & Liabilities

  • Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft, covering full replacement cost plus a 10% service fee.
  • For cosmetic damages (scratches, dents, or other minor defects) and missing camera accessories or parts, corresponding charges and rates are specified in the contract agreement.
  • Any issue causing delays for the next renter will incur a penalty fee.
  • Report any malfunctions immediately to avoid further damage.

Cancellations, Refunds & File Uploads

Cancellations & Refunds:

  • Downpayment is non-refundables if you cancel your booking.
  • If full payment has been made, only 50% will be refunded; the remaining amount is forfeited.
  • Bookings may be cancelled by the owner in case of unforseen circumstances (emergencies, typhoon, flight delays, etc.):
    • Full refund and a 15% discount on your next booking, valid for 3 months.
    • Discount is non-transferable, non-convertible to cash, and one-time use only.

Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling is allowed subject to item availability after 3 months from your original booking date. Notify us at least 1 week before your original booking date. Only one (1) reschedule is allowed per booking.

File Upload Service (Optional Fee):

  • Additional fees apply if you request us to upload your files for you.
  • Kindly prepare a Google Drive email account with the password provided so we can upload the files directly.
  • An additional fee of ₱150 - ₱300 applies if uploading to Google Drive or if the transfer takes longer due to large file sizes, slow upload speed, or extra time needed to organize the files.

Reminders & Conduct

Communicate respectfully. Rude or aggressive behavior may result in cancellation of ongoing rentals or denial of future bookings.
Handle the device with care and do not lend it to others. Follow all rental policies to avoid additional charges.
By submitting the documents, signing the rental agreement, and completing the payment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
